Little Red Sweet

The Cantonese dessert shop "Cheung Hing Kee" in Kowloon City was founded by the couple Cheung Hing and Sau Lin thirty years ago, starting from scratch and becoming famous for their red bean soup, serving the local community. The eldest daughter, Shing Yip, dreams of spreading her wings and becomes a flight attendant. The younger son, Kai Cheung, is a carefree university student. A typical Chiu Chow family. Everything changes when the mother suddenly suffers a stroke and falls into a coma, plunging the family into chaos. The stubborn Shing Yip can’t bear to see her father struggle, so she quits her job and returns to help out at the shop. The chauvinistic Cheung Hing refuses to appreciate her efforts, and without the mother, the three of them don’t know how to get along. On top of that, the Kowloon City redevelopment project is underway, and property developers are buying up buildings, threatening to close "Cheung Hing Kee" for good. Meanwhile, Shing Yip’s Canadian boyfriend, Yu Cheung, proposes to her, hoping she’ll move with him to Canada... In the midst of these sweeping changes, what lies ahead for "Cheung Hing Kee" and Shing Yip?
